Boston Society of Film Critics Names 'Zero Dark Thirty' Best Film of 2012

OK, we're still a few months away from the Oscars, but if these early awards are any indicator, Zero Dark Thirty and Kathryn Bigelow are going to end this race very quickly. After topping both the New York Film Critics Awards and the National Board of Review's list last week, Zero Dark Thirty and Bigelow took top honors when the Boston Critics named their 2012 honorees.

BEST ACTOR: Daniel Day-Lewis (Lincoln)
BEST ACTRESS: Emmanuelle Riva (Amour)
BEST SUPPORTING ACTOR: Ezra Miller (The Perks of Being a Wallflower)
BEST SUPPORTING ACTRESS: Sally Field (Lincoln)
BEST SCREENPLAY: Tony Kushner (Lincoln)
BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY: Mihai Malaimare Jr. (The Master)
BEST DOCUMENTARY: How to Survive a Plague
BEST ANIMATED FILM: Frankenweenie
