Chicago Film Critics Association Names 'Zero Dark Thirty' Best Film of 2012


The Oscar drumbeat for Zero Dark Thirty continues to grow, with the film taking several top honors at the Chicago Film Critics Association Awards. In addition to Best Picture, Zero Dark Thirty director Kathryn Bigelow and actress Jessica Chastain were honored. Two other races to watch are cinematography and animated feature. Based on the critics' awards thus far, it looks like these two races are wide open.

BEST FOREIGN-LANGUAGE FILM: Amour
BEST DOCUMENTARY: The Invisible War
BEST ANIMATED FEATURE: ParaNorman
