Washington D.C. Area Film Critics Association Names 'Zero Dark Thirty' Best Film of 2012

Zero Dark Thirty continues to clean up at the critics' awards level, winning over the Washington D.C. Area Film Critics when the group announced their 2012 honorees on Monday. Kathryn Bigelow added another Best Director award to her growing collection, as did Zero Dark Thirty star Jessica Chastain with Best Actress. Looper writer and director Rian Johnson collected another Best Original Screenplay award, hopefully upping his chances of getting an Oscar nomination in that category.

BEST CINEMATOGRAPHY: Claudio Miranda (Life of Pi)
BEST FOREIGN LANGUAGE FILM: Amour

BEST ANIMATED FEATURE: ParaNorman
