TRAILER: Brit Marling, Ellen Page and Alexander Skarsgard Prepare to Terrorize in 'The East'

There's going to come a day when Brit Marling is a star. If you've already seen the actress in Another Earth or Sound of My Voice, you know what I'm talking about. Not only is she an amazingly talented actress, but she also wrote those two films. The first trailer for The East, yet another film starring and written by Marling, hit the Internet this week. The story of a woman who infiltrates an ecoterrorist group and begins to fall in love with its leader, The East stars Marling, Ellen Page, Alexander Skarsgard and Patricia Clarkson.

The East doesn't have a release date yet, but you should be able to expect it sometime in 2013. In the meantime, go Netflix Another Earth and Sound of My Voice and catch up on Marling's work. Actually, watch the new trailer for The East after the jump first, then go watch those films.
