Paul Giamatti in Talks to Play the Rhino in 'The Amazing Spider-Man' Sequel (Felicity Jones in Talks for Mystery Role)

If you told me a director was putting together a film with Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Shailene Woodley, Jamie Foxx, Dane DeHaan, Paul Giamatti and Felicity Jones, I would expect that this film was some huge Oscar-bait picture. Instead, we're talking about The Amazing Spider-Man 2.

With Garfield and Stone returning and the additions of Woodley, Foxx and DeHaan already confirmed, the news broke on Monday that Giamatti is in talks to join the sequel as the Rhino. It's unclear which version of the Rhino the actor would playing, but it's likely that he'll be slightly different than the traditional comic book version to fit director Marc Webb's version of Spider-Man.

Who Jones will be playing is unclear, but the rumor mill has already turned its focus on the Black Cat, a character who's real name also happens to be Felicity. The addition of Felicity Hardy would give The Amazing Spider-Man 2 three romantic interests for Garfield's Peter Parker.

While you're probably already familiar with Giamatti, Jones is probably a new name. Watch Like Crazy, a film that really should've have gotten more buzz than it did, to see Jones in her breakout role.
