TRAILER: Matthew Fox Has to Go Back (WE HAVE TO GO BACK!) to Japan with Tommy Lee Jones in 'Emperor'

I'm going to warn you now that any post I make about Emperor, starring Matthew Fox, will be filled with Lost references. Look, I couldn't even get past this article's headline without succumbing to the urge.Will this be the norm? Yes, it'll be the constant.

While Fox's recent movies have been set in the present day, the actors skips back in time for Emperor, playing General Bonner Fellers, the man given the task of determining whether or not the emperor of Japan would hang for war crimes. Tommy Lee Jones plays General Douglas MacArthur, who points out that the fate of Japan's reconstruction hinges on what Fellers finds. The entire nation could revolt against America if the Emperor were to hang. I guess you could say the future of Japan is in the hands of Fox's character, which would kind of make him the guardian of the island, right?
