Michael Bay's 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle' Reboot Casts Its Raphael

While I'm sure Megan Fox would do a wonderful job playing April O'Neil and voicing the four turtles, Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle reboot has cast its first turtle. Alan Ritchson, best known for playing Aquaman on Smallville, will voice Raphael. Unlike the original TMNT trilogy, the turtles will be motion-capture performances this time around.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is set to hit theaters on June 16, 2014. Bay is just producing the movie, as Wrath of the Titans director Jonathan Liebesman will helm the reboot. Yeah, the fact that Liebesman directed Wrath of the Titans doesn't give us much hope for this movie, but just know that it could have been worse — Brett Ratner was also in the running to direct.
