Your Guide to Vince Vaughn Hosting 'Saturday Night Live' Tomorrow

Vince Vaughn will host Saturday Night Live this Saturday with music guest Miguel. Here's what you need to know about the upcoming episode.

Has Vaughn hosted SNL before?
Yup. This is his second time.

What do we know Vaughn from?
While Vaughn has been around for awhile, appearing in movies like Swingers and The Lost World: Jurassic Park, the actor peaked during the 2000s. During the first decade of the 21st century, if you were watching a quality comedy, there was a good chance Vaughn was in it. Old School, Anchorman: The Legend of Ron Burgundy, Dodgeball: A True Underdog Story and Wedding Crashers made Vaughn a go-to comedic talent. Unfortunately, his luck ran out with a string of flops that included The Break-Up, Fred Claus, Four Christmases and The Watch. Vaughn reunites with Wedding Crashers costar Owen Wilson for this summer's The Internship, a movie that would have been funny 15 years ago when no one knew how to use a webcam. That said, Vaughn was on Late Night with Jimmy Fallon last night, and he was very funny. Hopefully that'll translate to this episode of SNL.

Has Miguel appeared on SNL before?
Nope. This will be his first SNL appearance.

Anything we should expect from this episode?
Like last week, expect SNL to mock Kim Jong Un. Bobby Moynihan's impression of the dictator got cold open treatment last weekend, so somebody at SNL likes the bit. I'd normally say that Jay-Z and Beyonce's trip to Cuba and the headache it's caused for President Barack Obama would be a prime SNL target, but Jay Pharoah plays both Jay-Z and Obama, and without Maya Rudolph, SNL doesn't have a go-to Beyonce impersonator. I don't see how SNL doesn't do this bit, so we could see a either a completely pre-taped sketch or a sketch that makes use of Pharoah prerecording either Jay-Z or Obama. And SNL has to make fun of LL Cool J and Brad Paisley's Accidental Racist song, right? I also wouldn't be shocked if Wilson showed up either during Vaughn's monologue or for a Weekend Update bit. They need to promote the crap out of The Internship.
