TRAILER: Is 'Captain Phillips' Tom Hanks' Ticket to a Third Oscar for Best Actor?

In winning an unprecedented third Oscar for Best Actor this year, Daniel Day-Lewis broke a tie with several actors, including Tom Hanks. It's been awhile since Hanks won an Oscar, but 2013 might be his year. The actor has both Captain Phillips and Saving Mr. Banks lined up for this year, playing the captain of a hijacked cargo ship in one movie and Walt Disney himself in the other.

The first trailer for Captain Phillips debuted on Wednesday. The movie is based on the story of Captain Richard Phillips and the Maersk Alabama, which was hijacked by Somali pirates in 2009. Paul Greengrass directed Captain Phillips, and if his work on The Bourne Supremacy, The Bourne Ultimatum and United 93 are any sign, this movie should be a talker.
