Will 'Parks and Recreation' Star Adam Scott Replace John Cusack as 'Hot Tub Time Machine 2' Lead?

The wheels are turning, er, the bubbles are churning on a sequel to Hot Tub Time Machine, but it looks like the gang will be without John Cusack this time. While Craig Robinson, Rob Corddry and Clark Duke are all close to coming back for Hot Tube Time Machine 2, Cusack apparently has better things to do. Someone should tell him that no one wants to see a sequel to The Raven.

Don't worry, though, Hot Tub Time Machine fans — MGM has just about found its replacement for Cusack, with Parks and Recreation's Adam Scott in talks to join the sequel. According to TheWrap, Scott wouldn't be playing the same character that Cusack did, instead filling out an entirely new role.

I remember Hot Tub Time Machine being a surprisingly funny movie, and while I haven't been aching for a sequel, I'm still interested in seeing where the minds behind the original take things with a sequel. The original movie changed the world's timeline considerably. Would Hot Tub Time Machine 2 deal with the repercussions of those changes?
