'It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia' Wants You to Know It's Moving to FXX
What's FXX you ask? I'm pretty sure you won't be the only one asking that very question as we move into the fall TV season. On Sept. 2, FXX will launch as a sibling network to FX, focusing on the 18-34 demographic by moving FX comedies like It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, The League and Legit from their original home. There will be some overlap between FX and FXX, as Louie and Archer seem to be staying with FX for now.
On Tuesday, the first commercial for It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia's new season debuted online. Shot in black and white and done in subtitles, the promo's main goal is to make sure fans know it'll be moving to FXX. After years of airing on FX, it makes sense for the show to focus not sure on what the new season will be about but also where fans can find the show.
