'SNL' PROMOS: Jim Parsons Taunts Bobby Moynihan With a Laugh Track

Jim Parsons will host Saturday Night Live this weekend, and to promote the episode, NBC released a series of commercials. The Big Bang Theory star was paired up with Bobby Moynihan for these promos.

Two things I learned from watching these promos: One, apparently The Big Bang Theory's laugh track comes from a live audience. I don't buy that. That laughter sounds way too canned and it comes at points that aren't even funny. Two, if you hold cue cards slightly to the side of the camera, an inexperienced SNL host will read his lines while appearing to have kind of dead eyes. Hopefully they figure out cue card placement for Parsons when the actual show rolls around ... or he stops depending on them so much.
