New 'Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles' Features Shredder, Megan Fox and Dubstep

Michael Bay's Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot just keeps looking weirder and weirder. A new trailer for the movie premiered on Tuesday, showing off much more of the upcoming movie than we had previously seen.

The four main Turtles still have their odd, noseless looks, coming off slightly creeperish most of the time. At least the movie acknowledges that, making a joke about the way the Turtles are threatening Megan Fox's April O'Neil. Everything about the trailer seems like a strange Michael Bay-1980s mashup. There are a ton of over-the-top explosions, but there's also a rocket-powered skateboard. An then there's dubstep.

Sadly, no one yells "cowabunga" or eats a pizza.

In classic Bay fashion, the classic TMNT villain Shredder has been amped up into a massive, knives-and-swords-weilding character. Honestly, I have trouble buying William Fichtner in this role.

The Bay-produced Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles is directed by Jonathan Liebesman. In addition to Fox and Fichtner, the movie stars Johnny Knoxville, Tony Shalhoub, Will Arnett, Whoopi Goldberg and Abby Elliott. The movie opens on Aug. 8.
