Snoopy Flies Again in New PEANUTS MOVIE Trailer

If you're like most freedom-loving Americans, you spend the fall and winter seasons watching It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie BrownA Charlie Brown Thanksgiving and A Charlie Brown Christmas. Come the end of 2015, we'll all hopefully have a new Peanuts classic to add to those specials. The Peanuts gang returns to the big screen this fall with The Peanuts Movie.

The upcoming CGI special, written by Craig Schulz and Bryan Schulz and featuring voice recordings of Bill Melendez as Snoopy and Woodstock, got a new trailer on Monday. It's very similar to the first trailer we got for The Peanuts Movie. The Christmas-themed opening of the last trailer has been replaced with a generic winter-themed scene.

Generally when a classic story is turned into an animated movie, the story is trashed with a mix of pop songs, backwards hats and celebrity voices. The Peanuts Movie appears to be different. Having two members of Schulz family writing and producing the film goes a long way. Having producer Paul Feig promise Charlie Brown won't twerk helps too.

The Peanuts Movie opens on Nov. 6. Steve Martino directs.
