Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood to Lead AGENTS OF SHIELD Spinoff
The Marvel Cinematic Universe's TV footprint keeps getting bigger. If Agents of SHIELD, Agent Carter, Daredevil and a handful of upcoming Netflix series weren't enough for you, Marvel Studios is hard at work adding new shows to their small-screen portfolio. Agents of SHIELD stars Adrianne Palicki and Nick Blood will lead a spinoff of that show, The Hollywood Reporter confirmed on Monday.
Both Palicki and Blood joined Agents of SHIELD during the show's second and current season, playing Bobbi Morse/Mockingbird and Lance Hunter.
No word yet on when the Agents of SHIELD spinoff will premiere, what it will be called or how it will fit in with its parent show. THR did report that the spinoff is a separate project from the one 12 Years a Slave scribe John Ridley is working to develop.
