Olsen Twins Just Heard About FULL HOUSE Sequel FULLER HOUSE, Gonna Check With Bob Saget

When John Stamos and Netflix announced Monday that a Full House revival was on the way, the only castmembers that were announced for Fuller House were Candace Cameron-Bure, Jodie Sweetin and Andrea Barber. (Stamos will make guest appearances.) Much of the original Full House cast was missing from the announcement though.

Mary-Kate and Ashley Olsen talked to Women's Wear Daily about Fuller House and revealed that they had yet to sign on for the sequel series.

"We just found out about it today," Mary-Kate told WWD on Tuesday. "I guess we're going to talk to the creators and see what's happening."

Ashley had been left in the dark too, telling WWD that she "ran into [Bob Saget] the other day and we didn't even talk about it. ... I'm going to call [Saget] and get his perspective."

The Olsen twins didn't rule out joining Fuller House, but it sounds like there's some work to be done before they sign on. How would having both Olsen sisters on the show work? The duo shared the role of Michelle Tanner, which worked when they were toddlers and looked the same. Mary-Kate and Ashley have different looks now — would Fuller House use them in a tongue-in-cheek way, perhaps switching between the two in each take?

The Olsens aren't the only original Full House stars who haven't signed on for Fuller House yet. Lori Loughlin told Entertainment Weekly on Tuesday that she would reprise her role of Rebecca Katsopolis if "the powers that be are fair to all of us." Loughlin suggested that Netflix treat the Full House with favored nation status and give all the actors the same deal.

Meanwhile, Scott Weinger joked on Twitter that he was hoping to return as Steve, the former boyfriend of DJ Tanner.

Considering the fact that the new series' title, Fuller House, is a play on DJ's hyphenated married name, it's obvious that Steve and DJ didn't wind up together. Could Steve return to romance the widowed DJ?
