SEINFELD Headed to Hulu in Massive Exclusive Streaming Deal
Forget being the master of its domain. Seinfeld is now the master of Hulu. Several sites reported on Tuesday night that the streaming service had landed exclusive streaming rights to Seinfeld.
The deal reportedly works out to be between $700,000 and $1 million per episode. With the sitcom logging 180 episodes over its nine-season run, the Hulu deal could be worth between $105 million and $180 million.
According to The Hollywood Reporter, Hulu beat out Amazon and Yahoo!, with Netflix opting out of the running in favor of securing rights to Friends.
Like Friends, it's hard to flip through the channels without catching a block of Seinfeld episodes. With the show heading to Hulu, it'll be easier to binge-watch the series in order.
UPDATE: Hulu confirmed that Seinfeld is coming to the service on Wednesday morning.
