Reese Witherspoon Is Disney's Live-Action Tinkerbell

Disney's current trend of turning its animated classics into live-action movies will continue with one of the studio's oldest characters: Peter Pan's Tinkerbell. TheWrap reported on Thursday that Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon will both star in and produce Tink.

Witherspoon's take on Tinkerbell follows in the footsteps of recent live-action Disney movies like Cinderella, Maleficent and Alice in Wonderland. The studio is already in production on a live-action version of Beauty and the Beast starring Emma Watson.

According to TheWrap, Disney is actually working on two movies called Tink. In addition to the one starring Witherspoon, there's also a Tink that Disney is working on with Elizabeth Banks.
