A Third NOW YOU SEE ME Movie Is in the Making

Abracadabra. Now You See Me is now a trilogy. The second installment in the franchise, conveniently titled Now You See Me: The Second Act, won't hit theaters until June 10, 2016, but Lionsgate is already looking forward to what'll come next.

"We've already begun early planning for Now You See Me 3," CEO Jon Feltheimer said during a conference call with analysts on Friday.

Now You See Me: The Second Act will reunite Jesse Eisenberg, Mark Ruffalo, Woody Harrelson, Dave Franco, Morgan Freeman and Michael Caine from the original movie. Daniel Radcliffe and Lizzy Caplan will join the cast. Now You See Me star Isla Fisher had to sit the sequel out due to her pregnancy.

Lionsgate sadly opted to not name the sequel Now You Don't, which doesn't bode well for the third movie. We should just expect Now You See Me: The Third Act ... or Now You See Me: The Final Act, if the studio wants to pretend they'll actually stop after a trilogy.
