Stephen Amell Is Ready for Some Hockey as Casey Jones in TEENAGE MUTANT NINJA TURTLES Sequel

If I had my choice of a 1990s hockey-related pop culture bit getting a cinematic refresh, I'd choose The Mighty Ducks. That's unfortunately not happening, but the hockey mash-wearing Casey Jones from the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles franchise is returning the big screen next year.

We learned last month that Arrow star Stephen Amell was playing Casey Jones in Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2, and producer Michael Bay quickly released a picture of the actor wearing the character's iconic hockey mask over the weekend.

The Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles sequel hits theaters on on June 3, 2016.
