Elisha Cuthbert Joins Seann William Scott and Jay Baruchel in GOON Sequel
Elisha Cuthbert is getting in touch with her Canadian roots, joining the cast of Goon: Last of the Enforcers. The actress will play the "outlandish" sister of Eva, the character played by Alison Pill in Goon, according to The Hollywood Reporter.
The original Goon wasn't a big box office hit, but the movie did great with critics and moviegoers who were smart enough to see the film. I loved Goon — I'm glad to see the sequel actually happening.
Jay Baruchel will be return to not only co-write Goon: Last of the Enforcers but he'll also make his directorial debut. Seann William Scott and Liev Schreiber will reprise their roles of Doug "The Thug" Glatt and Ross "The Boss" Rhea. THR reports that the sequel will see "[Doug's team], the Halifax Highlanders, reunite with a host of new players during a pro lockout."
