Tommy Lee Jones Joins Next BOURNE Sequel

Tommy Lee Jones has already played a military officer in command of Captain America. Playing a CIA officer involved with Jason Bourne should be a piece of cake for the actor, right? Variety reported on Tuesday that the No Country for Old Men actor had signed on for the upcoming Bourne sequel, reportedly playing a "superior officer at the CIA."

Jones joins a cast that already has Matt Damon, Alicia Vikander and Julia Stiles on board, with Paul Greengrass returning to direct. There was also a report last month that Viggo Mortensen was in talks to play a villain in the next Bourne movie.

The untitled fifth Bourne movie will hit theaters on  July 29, 2016.
