'Snow White' Sequel: Kristen Stewart Will Return as the Fairest of Them All
When a movie makes $56.22 million its opening weekend these days, you can pretty much expect its studio to get the ball rolling on a sequel. To no surprise, Deadline Hollywood is reporting that Universal is pulling together the pieces to get a sequel to Snow White and the Huntsman moving. This had been rumored for awhile, with Kristen Stewart already saying that she'd love to return for another round as Snow White.
What can we expect from a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel? Charlize Theron's Queen Ravenna was probably the most entertaining part of the film, and (SPOILER ALERT) she's dead. Could she come back? It's the movies, so anything's possible. If I had to guess, though, Universal will create a Snow White and the Huntsman sequel that reunites most of the original's cast while bringing in another big name to play the villain. The film has been heralded as a triumph of female storytelling, so it wouldn't be a shocker if the studio stuck with the blueprint from this one and cast a strong actress in the villain role.
