Darth Maul returns from the dead
If you love Star Wars and aren't watching The Clone Wars, you should be. I ignored it for the longest time, knowing that the Clone Wars animated movie that kicked the series off was torn apart by critics, but I'm glad I finally came around to it. The show is pretty much what the prequels should have been, focusing on Anakin Skywalker's journey and the war itself. I've often been surprised at the level of violence and the dark tone of the show considering that it airs on Cartoon Network (and not during the Adult Swim block).
From what I've read, George Lucas personally issued the edict that Darth Maul be brought back from the dead. The once-deceased Sith lord will now be voiced by Sam Witwer, who has already voiced Starkiller in the Force Unleashed games and The Son in a previous Clone Wars run of episodes. Witwer is apparently a huge Star Wars fan himself.
