The Clones Return in New STAR WARS REBELS Promo

The clones are coming. The second season of Star Wars Rebels premieres in October, and with it comes the return of the popular clone troopers from Star Wars: The Clone Wars. USA Today debuted a new promo for Rebels on Thursday. If you've missed Captain Rex since The Clone Wars series ended, this promo is for you.



Is Star Wars Rebels going to feature a clone troopers vs. stormtroopers battle? How cool is that going to be? After carefully building a foundation for the post-Revenge of the Sith universe in Season 1, Rebels is giving Star Wars: The Clone Wars fans everything they've been hoping for, including setting up the inevitable showdown between Darth Vader and Ahsoka Tano, his former apprentice.

Star Wars Rebels returns on Oct. 14 on Disney XD.
