Kate Upton Snags Second Straight 'Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue' Cover

Sports Illustrated has revealed which supermodel will grace the cover of the 2013 Swimsuit Issue, and it's both a surprise and not a surprise at all. After being the 2012 edition's cover model, Kate Upton returns for her second-straight Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue cover, becoming the first model to accomplish the feat since Tyra Banks did so in 1996 and 1997. While Upton is just as popular this year as she was last year, many people thought SI would give another model a chance to enjoy the Swimsuit Issue cover spotlight.

The 2013 Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Issue hits stands on Feb. 13, but until then, you can check out Upton's brand new cover after the jump.
