FIRST LOOK: 'Mr. Peabody and Sherman' Gets Updated for a New Generation

Remember those Peabody's Improbable History shorts from the Rocky and Bullwinkle cartoons you most likely watched as a kid? Like almost everything else from your childhood, they're being turned into a CGI cartoon.

USA Today premiered a bunch of new pictures from Mr. Peabody and Sherman on Thursday, showing off Ty Burrell's Mr. Peabody, Max Charles' Sherman and Ariel Winter's Penny. I don't have high hopes for this movie. It was originally supposed to feature Robert Downey Jr. voicing Mr. Peabody, but he was replaced with Modern Family's Burrell. Burrell's a funny guy, but — c'mon — he's no Downey.

Mr. Peabody and Sherman also stars the voice talents of Stephen Colbert, Ellie Kemper, Leslie Mann, Allison Janey, Stanley Tucci, Mel Brooks and Lake Bell. The movie hits theaters on March 7, 2014.
