Spider-Man Fights Green Goblin, Electro and Rhino in Official 'The Amazing Spider-Man 2' Posters

I'm guessing if Sony had its way, we wouldn't have discovered that Dane DeHaan was playing the Green Goblin in The Amazing Spider-Man 2 just because some guy tweeted a grainy photo of a series of posters that were probably hung up too early, but that's what happened. After a few days, Sony got its act together, releasing an official, high-res version of those posters on Tuesday.

A blurry shot of Green Goblin yesterday made it pretty clear that it was DeHaan's Harry Osborn, not Chris Cooper's Norman Osborn on that hoverboard. Thanks to the official poster, there's no doubt that Andrew Garfield's Peter Parker will be facing off against his friend in the upcoming Spidey sequel. Check out the face on the building on the far right of the posters — that's a mutated and green DeHaan.

With the first trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man 2 coming out on Thursday, we should be able to start filling in some of the blanks when it comes to this movie's plot. Between Jamie Foxx's Electro, Paul Giamatti's Rhino and DeHaan's Green Goblin, the movie is cramming a lot of villains in. Hopefully it can balance that task better than Spider-Man 3.
