Johnny Depp Is Rendering in New 'Transcendence' Poster

If you're going to upload your soul into a computer system, you should probably do so over high-speed Internet. If you're still relying on a 56K modem, that process is going to take awhile. Hopefully Johnny Depp's character isn't dealing with slow Internet in Transcendence. The movie got another poster on Thursday, showing off a pixelated Depp.

Transcendence is the directorial debut from Wally Pfister, who's been director Christopher Nolan's longtime cinematographer. Pfister has assembled quite the cast for his first film, casting Depp, Morgan Freeman, Rebecca Hall, Kate Mara, Cillian Murphy and Paul Bettany.

The movie opens on April 18.
