Warner Bros. Makes 'Lego Batman' Official, Schedules 'The Lego Movie' Sequel and 'Lego Ninjago'

Wrapping up our Warner Bros. news for the day, the studio made its Lego offerings official on Wednesday. The studio confirmed that The Lego Batman Movie was coming in 2017, with Ninjago preceding it in 2016 and The Lego Movie 2 following it in 2018.

The Batman spinoff will be directed by Chris McKay, and Ninjago will be directed by Charlie Bean. Phil Lord, Chris Miller, Dan Lin and Roy Lee were announced as producers for Ninjago.

Based on previously announced release dates, we should be able to expect Ninjago on Sept. 23, 2016, The Lego Batman Movie on May 26, 2017, and The Lego Movie 2 on May 25, 2018. Warner Bros. still has May 24, 2019, claimed for Lego-themed movie too.
