HBO Renews VEEP and SILICON VALLEY

Veep and Silicon Valley returned to TV last night. HBO must've been happy with what they saw, since the network announced that it had renewed both shows on Monday.

"Veep and Silicon Valley are terrific series, and I'm immensely proud that they will return to HBO next year,” HBO President of Original Programming Michael Lombardo said in a statement.

The dual renewal will bring Veep to five seasons and Silicon Valley to three. Both series were nominated for Outstanding Comedy Series at the most recent Primetime Emmy Awards, with Julia Louis-Dreyfus taking home the award for Outstanding Lead Actress in a Comedy Series.
