Sylvester Stallone Debuts First Pic From ROCKY Sequel CREED

Rocky returns to theaters this fall. When Sylvester Stallone gets back in the ring for Creed though, he won't be the one doing the fighting. In Creed, Rocky has to train the grandson of Apollo Creed, his former nemesis-turned-friend.

Michael B. Jordan plays Adonis Creed, that grandson who turns to Rocky in hopes of becoming a champion. Creed is directed by Ryan Coogler, who previously earned acclaim with Jordan for Fruitvale Station.

Stallone debuted the first pic from Creed on Monday, posting a picture of himself and Jordan on Instagram. The picture also had the very Stallone-esque caption of "Get ready to go for it!"

Sadly, Creed isn't the story of Apollo Creed's grandson looking to take vengeance on Ivan Drago for killing his grandfather in Rocky IV. It sounds likes Dolph Lundgren won't be in the movie.

Creed opens on Nov. 25.
