Amy Schumer Dons Princess Leia's Bikini for Risque GQ Cover Shoot

Amy Schumer is having a pop culture moment. The third season of her buzzy Comedy Central show just wrapped up, the movie that she wrote and starred in is earning rave reviews and now she's on the cover of GQ with a few legendary Star Wars droids.

The magazine unveiled its 2015 comedy issue on Wednesday, which features several shots of Schumer hanging out with C-3PO and R2-D2 in ways that probably go against their programming.

While Schumer's been on the comedy scene for a few years (she delivered a seething set at Comedy Central's roast of Charlie Sheen and released a comedy album, Cutting, in 2011), everything really clicked into play for her this year. Inside Amy Schumer became must-watch viewing if you wanted to know what the Internet was talking about the next day. And good luck getting very far right now without seeing promotion for Trainwreck.

Something tells me this isn't part of Lucasfilm's plan to promote Star Wars: The Force Awakens ...
