It Turns Out Chris Pine Will Be in WONDER WOMAN, Not GREEN LANTERN CORPS

By the time Warner Bros. rolls its superhero movie slate into theaters, Chris Pine is going to be playing someone in one of those movies. After hearing otherwise last month, it sounds like Pine will play Steve Trevor in Wonder Woman. TheWrap reported on Tuesday that the Star Trek actor has closed a deal for the role.

It turns out those reports back in May that Pine would play Wonder Woman's boyfriend were true. Latino-Review got a rumor started last month that Pine was actually going to be one the new Hal Jordan in Warner Bros.' Green Lantern Corps movie. It's actually surprising that Latino-Review hasn't deleted that erroneous "scoop" yet.

The Wonder Woman cast will be led by Gal Gadot, who will originate the role in next year's Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. You can check her out in the latest trailer for the movie. Patty Jenkins directs Wonder Woman, which is set to hit theaters on June 23, 2017.
