The Awful 'X-Men: Days of Future Past' Quicksilver Is in a Carl's Jr. Commercial

Usually when you see a Carl's Jr. commercial on Popculturology, it's because Kate Upton or Emily Ratajkowski is in it. The fast food joint must have run out of supermodels, since they're now using X-Men: Days of Future Past's Quicksilver to shill sandwiches.

Quicksilver is experiencing a surge in popularity right now. He'll be played by Evan Peters in X-Men: Days of Future Past and Aaron Taylor-Johnson in Avengers: Age of Ultron. Due to the character's history with both the X-Men and the Avengers, Fox and Disney/Marvel Studios has rights to the character. While we've yet to get an official look at Avengers: Age of Ultron's version of Quicksilver, we've seen how director Bryan Singer is interpreting the character for Days  of Future Past.

And it's not good.

For some reason, Singer's version of Quicksilver wears band T-shirts, has long silver hair and sports a pair of goggles. He also uses his superpowers to catch pieces of bacon before they hit the ground, according to the new Carl's Jr. commercial.
