'Snow White and the Huntsman' Director Rupert Sanders to Helm 'Napoleon'

Hey, history teachers, your job is about to get harder when it comes to teaching kids about Napoleon Bonaparte. Warner Bros. is working on Napoleon, a biopic about the French leader, and Snow White and the Huntsman director Rupert Sanders will be the man at the helm.

Jeremy Doner (AMC’s The Killing) wrote the script, which is taking a Scarface-like look at its subject, Napoleon Bonaparte. Bonaparte is one of history’s most outsized personalities, a genius who believed in himself almost too much even as he could inspire hundreds of thousands to do his military and political bidding.

Besides directing Snow White and the Huntsman, Sanders is best known for hooking up with Snow White star Kristen Stewart while he was married and she was still dating Robert Pattinson. Not sure where Rupert and Stewart currently stand, but I'm guessing we won't see her name come up when it comes to casting Napoleon's girlfriend in this movie.
