Schmidt Happens: Max Greenfield to Guest Star on 'The Mindy Project'

Even in the face of probable cancelation, The Mindy Project keeps adding guest stars. New Girl's Max Greenfield will guest star on the April 22 episode The Mindy Project, and according to E! Online, "He'll play Lee, a hot player at a bar who is up to no good."

The Mindy Project will return from hiatus on April 1, and already has an episode with Breaking Bad's Anna Gunn on the docket. While it didn't pull the plug like NBC did with Sean Saves the World, Fox putting The Mindy Project on hiatus for a few months doesn't bode well for the future of Mindy Kaling's sitcom. Popculturology included the series in its Top TV Shows of 2013 list, so we're definitely pulling for The Mindy Project to live on beyond this spring.
