Bryan Singer Confirms That Ben Hardy Will Play Angel (or Archangel?) in X-MEN: APOCALYPSE
"Ben Hardy is Angel — I shall confirm it for you!" Singer told Empire. "But he's not a very nice Angel! And that’s all I'll say ..."
Singer was hinting at the likelihood that we'll see Archangel in X-Men: Apocalypse. In the comics, Warren Worthington III became Death, one of the Horsemen that served the ancient mutant Apocalypse.
The director had posted concept art alluding to Angel appearing in X-Men: Apocalypse last week. That piece of concept art featuring a version of the character with feathered wings. We'll probably see Warren transform from Angel into Archangel in the new X-Men movie.
X-Men: Apocalypse opens on May 27, 2016.
