It's Tom Hanks Versus a Bridge on New BRIDGE OF SPIES Poster

OK, so maybe Tom Hanks isn't fighting a bridge in Bridge of Spies, but that would be an interesting movie, right? Would the bridge transform? Could Hanks grow bigger like a Power Rangers villain to battle his bridge foe?

Anyways, Bridge of Spies is actually about the American lawyer tasked with negotiating the release of pilot Francis Gary Powers from the Soviet Union during the Cold War. With Hanks starring and Steven Spielberg directing, Bridge of Spies has a ton of Oscars potential. That movie about Tom Hanks fighting an actual bridge probably wouldn't be an awards-season darling.

Bridge of Spies opens on Nov. 27.
