LEGO Ideas Gets Timey-Wimey With Upcoming DOCTOR WHO Set

If a few LEGO Dimensions character packs aren't enough for Doctor Who fans, there's good news for you: LEGO unveiled the long-awaited Doctor Who LEGO Ideas set on Monday. The set comes with an expandable Tardis, minifigs based on Matt Smith's Eleventh Doctor, Peter Capaldi's Twelfth Doctor, Jenna Coleman's Clara Oswald, a Weeping Angel and two Daleks.

Construct a stunningly detailed LEGO® version of the iconic TARDIS® and role-play the Doctor’s time-travel adventures! Created by fan-designer Andrew Clark and selected by LEGO Ideas members, this set is based on the BBC’s popular and long-running television series about a Time Lord – the Doctor – exploring the universe in a blue police box. The version of the Twelfth Doctor that you get in this set is actually different from the one included in the Doctor Who LEGO Dimensions Level Pack and these Daleks are different from the one included in the Cyberman LEGO Dimensions Solo Pack. I can understand why the Twelfth Doctor would have a change of clothes, but why create a different model of the Dalek?
