TRAILERS: 'The Wolverine' Loses His Immortality and Fights a Ton of Samurai

I was stuck at jury duty today, and since they frown on writing about pop culture and sending out tweets while you're there, I'm a bit behind when it comes to sharing the best pop culture news of the day. That doesn't mean that we can't watch and discuss the first trailers for The Wolverine, though. After X-Men Origins: Wolverine stunk up cinemas a few years ago, the idea of another Wolverine movie didn't look like a great idea.

Marvel and director James Mangold have promised that The Wolverine will not only stand separate from X-Men Origins: Wolverine, but it'll finally get fans of the character the film they've been hoping for. Set in Japan, The Wolverine looks at Hugh Jackman's iconic character long after the original trilogy of X-Men movies, leaving him to face a new threat and the possibility of mortality alone.
