Dwayne Johnson Joins Disney Animated Feature MOANA

Dwayne Johnson is going to add his golden touch to the Second Disney Animation Renaissance. Variety reported on Wednesday that Johnson will join Moana as the voice of Maui, a "mythological being who aids a girl in her search for a fabled island in the ancient South Pacific world of Oceania."

Johnson confirmed the news on Twitter, joking that it's time for him to sing.

Moana will open on Nov. 23, 2016, following March 2016's Zootopia in the line of Disney animated films.
