Kevin Spacey Spoofs 'House of Cards' for White House Correspondents' Dinner

Before President Barack Obama and host Conan O'Brien could mix it up with jokes during this weekend's White House Correspondents' Dinner, Kevin Spacey stole the show with a House of Cards spoof lovingly called House of Nerds. Spacey reprised his Frank Underwood character for the clip, discussing the upcoming WHCD with bold-face names that included Valerie Jarrett, Ed Henry, John McCain, John Harris, Mike Allen, Jay Carney, Kevin McCarthy, Steny Hoyer, Major Garrett, Ben Smith and Michael Bloomberg.

While Obama and O'Brien were funny, House of Nerds was probably the highlight of the night's comedic offerings. Based on how quickly and how deeply House of Cards has embedded itself in pop culture, I think Netflix can count the series as a success.

Check out the full House of Nerds clip after the jump.
