FIRST LOOK: Elsa and Anna Return in FROZEN FEVER Animated Short

If you're a parent with kids obsessed with Frozen, get ready for another storm of Disney's blockbuster animated movie. The Frozen characters will return in a new short, Frozen Fever, which will run in front of the new live-action Cinderella movie beginning on March 13.

USA Today debuted our first look (beyond just the logo) at Frozen Fever on Monday, showing off five images from the seven-minute short along with some new info on what the cartoon will be about.

The animated short will focus on Elsa (Idina Menzel) and the gang attempting to throw Anna (Kristen Bell) a birthday party. Now that Elsa isn't sequestered away in her ice palace, co-director Chris Buck promises a new side of the character — including new curveball that comes her way.

"Elsa doesn't get a cold in the usual way," co-director Jennifer Lee told USA Today. "She's special. Surprising things occur that wreak a little havoc."

Along with Elsa and Anna, Frozen characters Olaf (Josh Gad), Kristoff (Jonathan Groff) and Sven the reindeer will all be back for Frozen Fever.

"The gang is back together. And literally it's like we never went away," Gad told USA Today. "Every day we're reminded of Frozen in our lives. So it feels like a continuation of a saga that has many parts still untold. It felt like coming home again after a short absence."

If the team behind Frozen Fever has it's way, we'll all have a new song stuck in our heads soon. Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the duo who wrote "Let It Go," have written a new song for the short that USA Today promises will be "catchy."

"If history is any indicator, kids will go nuts," Gad said.
