Rosario Dawson Returning for DAREDEVIL Season 2 and Additional Marvel Netflix Shows

When he returns for Season 2 of Daredevil, Matt Murdock is still going to need someone to consistently patch him up. Luckily, Murdock will have Claire Temple by his side. Marvel Studios announced on Friday that Rosario Dawson would return as Claire for the show's second season.

"After working with Rosario in the first season, we knew instantly that we had to have her back for our second," Head of Marvel TV Jeph Loeb said in a statement. "Claire Temple proved a fan favorite in Season 1, and we can't wait for fans to see all the plans we have for her next."

The studio also announced that Dawson's new deal would give her the flexibility to appear in additional Marvel Cinematic Universe shows that air on Netflix, including AKA Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, Iron Fist and The Defenders.

Daredevil's second season will hit Netflix in 2016.
