First Two Posters for ALICE THROUGH THE LOOKING GLASS Debut

After the live-action Alice in Wonderland movie grossed more than a billion dollars in 2010, there was little doubt that Disney would get to work on a sequel. That sequel — Alice Through the Looking Glass — got its first two posters last week. Both posters tease the time-traveling element that will be present in the movie, with Johnny Depp's Mad Hatter and Mia Wasikowska's Alice skipping along distorted timepieces.

Alice Through the Looking Glass will hit theaters on May 27, 2016. In addition to Depp and Wasikowska, the movie stars Helena Bonham Carter, Anne Hathaway, Sacha Baron Cohen and Rhys Ifans. The Muppets director James Bobin replaces Alice in Wonderland director Tim Burton at the helm.
