RED-BAND TRAILER: Don't Eat the F---ing Candy in 'Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters'

Not to sound pessimistic, but if I had to guess how Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters will perform at the box office, I'm going to say it flops. It's a cute concept — Hansel and Gretel survive their childhood encounter with a witch to go on to become badass witch hunters using anachronistic weapons — but it looks so much like Hugh Jackman's Van Helsing. Which flopped.

Hansel and Gretel: Witch Hunters was supposed to come out last March, but Paramount delayed it. (Paramount seemed to do that a lot last year.) The movie now hits theaters on Jan. 25, 2013, and stars Jeremy Renner and Gemma Arterton as Hansel and Gretel. Check out the red-band trailer (which Collider debuted this morning) after the jump.
