'Parks and Recreation' Star Chris Pratt Got Jacked for 'Guardians of the Galaxy'

When we learned back in February that Chris Pratt would be playing the lead in Marvel's upcoming superhero movie Guardians of the Galaxy, a popular response was, "Him? The schlubby guy from Parks and Recreation?" Well, Pratt made it clear that he was no longer that schlubby guy anymore, tweeting an Instagram selfie of himself in the gym over the holiday weekend.

Pratt's Parks and Rec buddies were quick to jump on his tweet, with Rob Lowe remarking, "You CANNOT return to Pawnee like that!" and Jim O'Heir (Jerry Gergich) saying, "Damn. Now they'll never be able to tell us apart. #twins #GOTG #nodeserteveragain." Yes, he said hashtags. This is what we've come to society — quoting hashtags.

Anyways, Chris Pratt is jacked now. I wonder if he'll put the weight back on Parks and Rec or if the show will somehow write it into the plot. The FBI could always request that Bert Macklin get into shape, right?
