'Fifty Shades of Grey' Stars Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson on 'Entertainment Weekly' Cover
Rejoice, Fifty Shades of Grey fans, the leading duo of the book's cinematic adaption are together on the cover of Entertainment Weekly, giving you the first official look at Jamie Dornan and Dakota Johnson as Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele.
Look. I have very little knowledge about Fifty Shades of Grey. I know that it started out as Twilight fan fiction. I know that it's basically an excuse for people to read porn on airplanes and in libraries. I know that the Internet wasn't happy when Sons of Anarchy star Charlie Hunnam was cast as Christian Grey before he dropped out. And I know that the tie Dornan is holding on this EW cover will most likely be used for ... stuff ... sex stuff.
All of that said, I'm not going to knock Fifty Shades of Grey. If people want to get excited over the movie, that's cool. We all have our stuff to nerd out over, right?
Along with making EW's cover, Fifty Shades of Grey also made news today with the announcement that the film's release date will shift from Aug. 1, 2014, to Feb. 13, 2015. Basically, if you're a studio right now and you're looking for a release date, you should automatically pick 2015. That's what everyone else is doing.
