Russell Crowe Is Gonna Need a Bigger Boat in New 'Noah' Poster

When a director like Darren Aronofsky takes on a subject as epic as Noah and the ark, you'd think there would be a lot of excitement over the project. Well, Noah doesn't quite have that buzz going for it.

The movie, which stars Russell Crowe as the man who built the Old Testament ark, got its first poster on Wednesday. It features Crowe watching the floodwaters come in. Not too exciting. There's a trailer coming soon too, which actually leaked online a few weeks ago. There are fears going around the movie world that Aronofsky has turned Noah into a global warming film, and based on that trailer, it seems like the director has gone in that direction.

A few weeks ago, we learned that Paramount Pictures is worried about the movie Aronofsky is molding. Test screenings with completely different audiences didn't go well. Noah is incredibly expensive. It makes perfect sense that the studio is battling Aronofsky for final cut now.

Hopefully things will get better as we see more of Noah.
